Hello.

  • Jul. 8th, 2009 at 11:03 AM
Hey there. It's been two weeks since I last posted here. I'm lazy. The lasts weeks have been HOOOOOOOOOT!!!! It's been around 30 degrees Celsius almost every day. And it's been this sultry heat that's made it difficult to breath. I've been sweating oceans and that's not fun. Andrej and I haven't been out much during the days because of the heat but left the apartment in the evenings. Even though it's been just as hot then.

Stupid summer. Blärgh...

We haven't been doing much other than sitting in bed and such but we have summer break so we're not supposed to do anything hehe. Nah but we were in Denmark one day eh some week ago (can't remember when). It was hot and we didn't have that much time when we got to Copenhagen but we walked around. Paid a little visit to Christiania and then walked around some more. My feet hurt awfully much when we left for Helsingør. Martin was with us, I forgot that, and he was drinking beer after beer. After we came off the ferry in Helsingborg and was to find our train, we realized that the train Martin had planned for us to take, didn't even go as far as Varberg. I was pissed off at Martin for not looking at the time table correctly and Andrej was pissed off at him because he took the situation so mildly. We had to jump on the train that only went as far as the station before Varberg (which is really far away) and tried to get hold of someone with a car that could come pick us up. Martin got his mother to do it after a lot of persuasion and she came to pic us up. Which was great because otherwise we'd have to stay in Halmstad over the night until the next train would arrive at six in the morning.

I think that's been the most we'd been doing during these weeks otherwise nothing. I have some photos but haven't put them on the computer but I will later. Too lazy there as well at the moment.

Now, Andrej and I will go pick up a huge box with his new speakers. They are massive and I will be getting "new" speakers myself because I will get his old ones.

I have to go now but I might come back and update when I feel like it next time. Might be weeks until then as well but bye for now....

Hello summer!

  • Jun. 21st, 2009 at 5:13 PM
Since June 14th, I've been staying in Andrejs hometown Varberg and we're planning on staying here almost all summer. It's been raining - not that very unusual - almost all the week so we haven't really been doing anything other than watching movies and eating. It was midsummer on Friday but that's nothing neither one of us "celebrate" but we ate lots of strawberries with vanilla icecream.

The picture below is from today when the sun and warmth finally showed up and we decided to take a walk. Andrej showed me around and the thing in the back in the pic is Varberg's fortress which isn't that very exciting but still kind of cool. After this picture was taken we went to buy really expensive ice-cream and then we went home.

Jeremy's graduation

  • Jun. 13th, 2009 at 8:03 PM
In pouring rain, in an ocean of umbrellas, was everyone at my brother Jeremy's school let out to be greeted by their families. We were all soaking wet and tired of the rain but it was fun anyway. Some of the students had open cars which must've sucked for them but they were all happy either way. Jeremy and his class were prepared and had "roof" on their trailer. After watching the caravan of trailers and cars go round and round town, we got back home, waited for Jeremy and then the party started. Jeremy, Andrej and I , drank lots of beer and Andrej was the one getting way too drunk. I was smart enough to know when my limit was reached. Jeremy then left to go to Helsingborg to continue partying.

This is what it looked like before the students ran out from school. The entire yard was filled with umbrellas and it was difficult to move around. Picture taken from the local newspaper.

After having to wait a long time, the students were finally let out of school and Jeremy was happy as ever. Here we have started to hang flowers and teddys around his neck.

The horn I gave him was really a toy mum gave us when we were kids. I found it in the basement and thought it would be a great thing to give him. The louder the better.

The first round we missed him because we were standing on the wrong side of the road but during the second round we got him. Here he's just spotted us after we'd been shouting for all it was worth.

New haircut

  • Jun. 12th, 2009 at 11:25 AM
I cut my hair in a salon for the first time in years yesterday and I came home looking like this. I love it but it's sad because I had to destroy this when I was to dye my hair later in the evening. It's really, really red now so that way it looks better but I could never get my hair to look this good like the hairdresser did. She was fantastic by the way and my hair is fantastic.

It's Jeremys' graduation today and the weather is crap. It's raining and the wind's blowing and it's cold and we can't sit in the garden which sucks. Hoping it will be fun anyway.

Before Jeremy's prom

  • Jun. 8th, 2009 at 9:34 PM
My brother Jeremy graduates on Friday and today is his graduation prom. I was the photographer before they went to Helsingborg where the prom is held so here are some of the photos I took.

Photobucket
Jeremy was handsome in his suit (he couldn't afford a smoking so he uses the suit he'll wear on Friday as well).

Photobucket
And he's kind of crazy as you might see.

Photobucket
He also invited mum to his little jump fest.

Then at around 3.30 PM, Jeremy's friends arrived and pictures where taken in our garden.

I hope they have a good time and don't get too drunk hahaha. It's party all week long for them now. Then on Friday they will run out from school and party all night long.

Summer is here....

  • Jun. 1st, 2009 at 4:22 PM
It's definitely summer now. The hottest today was 31 degrees Celsius and it's only getting warmer. My room is like a freakin oven with two computers in it. I've got both windows open and a fan that's on all the time. If you move one centimeter you're drowned in sweat.

But still I think this is the best start of the summer ever.
And it's only going to get better.

I have to fix my room now though. You can't even move around here without falling over something.

Siesta!

  • May. 31st, 2009 at 10:13 AM
On Friday, Andrej and I went to a city called Hässleholm to go to a small festival called Siesta. Our only reason to go there was to see Placebo. We got there at around 9 PM and wandered around, saw and heard a bit of Swedish band Mando Diao but wasn't impressed at all and sat down in the damp grass to wait for Placebo that were going to start at 00.15. It was a wonderful concert but I think they played too many new songs all at once in the beginning. The songs were good though even if I still love their older songs more. We had a great spot where we could see the band very clear even if we didn't stand right in front of the stage. Didn't have any irritating people around us so it was all really, really good.

The photos I took didn't end up any good since I only had my small old camera with me because I didn't want my new one to break. But I reasoned that photos aren't that important anyway. It's the experience that matters to me.

(I don't have any time to rezise them so sorry for the size)

  • May. 25th, 2009 at 10:28 PM
I'm not dead, I'm just not too keen on updating anymore.

Last week my class went to Copenhagen, Denmark on a school trip. We stayed over at a hotel, went to Tivoli, went on some kind of sightseeing truip (guh, borging) and had lots of fun. And they have Kentucky Fried Chicken in Denmark woooo. First time I ever tried that.

School ends on Friday. SUMMER YAAAAAAYYYYY!!! So probably more updating then if I feel like it.

Directly after school on Friday, Andrej and I will go to a festival for the day called Siesta!. There we will see Placebo and if we make it there I also want to see an Aussie band called Expatriate. So great start of the summer. Probably won't be any Roskilde festival after all. I have money but Andrej haven't.

Anyway, the reason why I stumbled into here was because of this:

Photobucket

Yes, my hair is red now. It looks all the more stunning in sunlight and IRL at all for that matter. These crappy toilet pics won't do the colour justice at all.

That's all... for now.

  • May. 11th, 2009 at 11:01 PM
I really really regret that I didn't actually go home for that one night so that I could've seen my brother Jeremy sing and act with his class and several more people from his school, in the musical Joseph and the amazing technicolar dreamcoat. They've been practicing this musical for months and spent up to 12 hours a day with it. And it's not just any school musical either. This is real shit. They had famous choreographer Gordon Marsh to help them and they borrowed stage equipment from Slagthuset in Malmö. It was also advertised heavily around the town and it's been a pretty big deal in my hometown about this musical.

Jeremy has uploaded several clips from the musical that mum filmed. I would so have loved to be there but sadly I couldn't. I have the clips to watch though. I'm so proud of him my lovely little brother :D

Summer plans...

  • May. 5th, 2009 at 7:09 PM
On May 29th, school ends. It's a Friday. That same Friday, Andrej and I will head to Hässleholm for the Siesta festival. We have our tickets and will be there for that Friday evening. Not that there are that many bands worth watching but I will see Placebo who are playing (their only Swedish date I think I read).

Today it popped up in my mind that why not go to the Roskilde Festival? I mean, I will have the money. There are tickets left. Andrej and Martin are on. So why not? I will perhaps go there but it leans on going. Yay!

Then I found today that Morrissey's coming to Sweden and went to see if there's any tickets left, and there is. Which means I might see him in Gothenburg on June 22nd. Nothing's certain though but I would really much want to go and Andrej's with me so maybe. Nothing's decided yet though.

These days.

  • May. 3rd, 2009 at 1:06 PM

I'm a lousy friend. I don't keep in touch and for those waiting for a letter from me - be patient. I think about how long it's been since I got the letters / presents from you and I feel really bad for not having replied to you yet. Sorry. It's just that I have a lot of things going on and a lot on my head but that's no excuse for not having written to you I know.

May. It's only about four weeks left of school now and I don't feel sorry for it actually. 12 weeks of being able to do just exactly whatever I want to do. Oh how wonderful! It will be a very welcome break to just be able to sleep as much as I want to and do nothing if I feel like it.

I really should learn how to not think about things all the time. Things that I can't control and things that people say. I can't do anything about it but still I walk around thinking off it and it sometimes manages to take up every part of my thinking. It's horrible but I can't do anything about it. I should think before I do things so that I don't have to think about these things long after it's happened. Or I should just simply post pictures here only. My self-esteem has always been very low but I don't have to make it worse by myself.

Eh, I have no idea what I'm talking about actually. My head feels like it's melting. I can't think properly and I don't think I feel very well today. Perhap that's why. I'm just very sensitive some days. This is that kind of day. I should stay away from the internet on days like these.

But I just got a cool add on for Firefox called StumbleUpon. If you have Firefox then get it. It will make all those bproing days a lot more fun.

Eh, I will go do some cleaning now and stop thinking.

I will however leave you with this picture because I feel like it.

Spring

  • Apr. 25th, 2009 at 1:48 PM
The trees are turning green. When I look outside the leaves glisten in the sun.
The sunlight blinds me and no cloud in sight. Only blue skies as far as I can see.
It's 24 degrees Celsius in the sun. Almost like summer.
I'm walking around in a skirt without stockings and feel the sun warm my legs.
Even the wind is warm.
I want summer now.
I want lazy days in the sun with Andrej by my side.
I want whole days where we can do whatever we want and not have any times to chase.
Just lie in the grass somewhere and listen to nature speak.
How wonderful isn't that?
Andrej and I will have a wonderful summer together.

Movies!

  • Apr. 24th, 2009 at 10:01 PM
It's been, well, a long while now but I haven't watched many movies lately. These are the once I've seen since the last time.

Photobucket

Boondock Saints (1999)
Two Irish brothers accidentally killed mafia thugs. They turned themselves in and were released as heroes. They then see it as a calling by God and started knocking off mafia gang members one by one. Willem Dafoe plays the detective trying to figure out the killings, but the closer he was to catching the Irish brothers, the more he thinks the brothers are doing the right thing.
This didn't really go home with me, but there where a few things that I liked about it. It was somewhat funny but after awhile I was bored and wanted it to end. Some great action too though. There's a good plot and the characters are well planned.

The Cars That Ate Paris (1974)
A man's car breaks down in a country town, somewhere in New South Wales, Australia. His brother has been killed, and his fear of cars has returned full-blown, yet accidents around here are more common than strict coincidence would allow, and just leaving the town becomes a problem all of its own. Especially when the various factions in town start a feud that has been brewing for a long time...
What the hell was this all about? I have no idea where the heck I found this but I started to regret it after just having seen ten minutes of the film. Made no sense at all and seeing it when dead tired wasn't the best thing to do since I almost fell asleep in the end. It's supposed to be a satire of some sort, but you won't find any laughs here. There is a weird feel to the whole film. The first scene doesn't make any sense at all until a lot later in the film but when you start watching it feels like two movies that are just put together into one. I wouldn't recommend anyone to see this.

Ghost Town (2008)
Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen. That puts Pincus squarely in the middle of a triangle with spirited result.
Very predictable from the very beginning but still a very delightful movie. I enjoyed it. The cast is good as well as the acting and you don't have to think too much when watching this but just lay back and watch the story roll by.

Senseless (1998)
Darryl Witherspoon is a young black college student who wants to win annual junior analyst competition, which can land him a job in a big brokerage company. He becomes a guinea pig for the drug developed at the college which is promised to heighten all senses by ten times.
Andrej found this movie and hadn't read the plot or anything but wanted to see it based on some quotes from it that had been in a song he likes. He found a good movie though. You'll laugh even if it's one of those very stereotyped movies. Because this isn't really like all those others when you think about it. But like all the others, you don't need to think which is so good about it.
Marlon Wayans does a great job in playing Darryl. He really fits the part and makes Darryl's battle with the drug into a laugh fest.
Don't have to many expectations, just sit back and enjoy.

Grandma's Boy (2006)
When his roommate spends the rent money on Filipino hookers. Alex, a 35 year video game tester has to find a new place to live. After a "encounter" with his friends mom, Alex is forced to move in with his grandmother. Trying to save face with his younger co-workers, Alex says that he is living "with three hot babes" (meaning his grandmother and her two roommates).
Hahaha omg, me and Andrej laughed so hard when watching this. It's a really wonderful movie and you'll laugh your ass off (at least in the right mood). It's very absurd and exaggerated but hilarious.
Grandma's Boy is about game designers, which by extension makes it about geeks and nerds. This may not be how most game designers (or most grandparents and their friends) really are, but this isn't a documentary, it's a very funny comedy, and this is at least about how those of us who aren't in the business imagine or want them to be. That's part of what makes comedy work--it has exaggerated, fantasy elements by way of caricatures/grotesques of (stereo)types that exist at least in popular, contemporary "mythology".
One of the characters, JP, will probably be one of those you remember the longest. If you watch it you'll understand why.

Puff, Puff, Pass
(2006)
Two frequent cannabis smokers, Larry (Danny Masterson) and Rico (Ronnie Warner), keep saying they are starting a tiny classified ads business. Each time someone asks what the ads are for, they respond "That's not the point! It's complex" or "The ads themselves generate income", because that is all they know from watching an infomercial on this business, given by Dick Dupre (a parody of Don Lapre) played by John McGinley. The two get evicted, go to rehab and get kicked out, and then take a job for Big Daddy (Mekhi Phifer). It turns out the job was actually a plot to rip off Big Daddy set up by his girlfriend Elise (Ashley Scott). The two foil the plan and end up working with Big Daddy and Dick Dupre, selling beachfront property in Nicaragua on infomercials.
This wasn't all that bad really. This movie is more down to reality on earth than anything else being produced today, it is a day in the life of most modern Americans and isn't filled with a bunch of unrealistic dreams and fabrications of how life really is. It was written extremely well and the flow of the film beats any of the blockbuster junk Hollywood spits out today.

Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle (2004)
Harold Lee and Kumar Patel are two stoners who end up getting the munchies. What they crave the most after seeing a TV advertisement, is a trip to White Castle. So from here, follows a journey for the burgers they require. On their way they will encounter many obstacles including a raccoon, a racist officer, and a horny Neil Patrick Harris.
The movie is absolutely hilarious. It's light years beyond Dude Where's My Car?, or for that matter any stoner/dumbass flick I've seen in years. This will be a cult comedy classic, one you watch ten times till you know all the words. How many times do you get to see someone so excited over a giant bag of marijuana that he dances slow-motion in circles with it, then marries it, then bitch-slaps it because it served him bad coffee, then sobs and hugs it, crying, "I love you honey!"? (This is a dream sequence, and uh it's funnier that it sounds.)
Overall a very very good movie and I don't think I've laughed this much in a long time. It was that funny. If you like stoner movies then you have to see this because it's wonderful.

The Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy (2005)
Arthur Dent is a British everyman. When he finally meets his perfect woman he balks at her request to go some place and she is then stolen away from him by a man claiming to have his own spaceship arrives at the party. Arthur next finds that his home is to be demolished for a bypass. He thinks it is only his house, but later realizes, with the help of Ford Prefect, that his galactic home, Earth, is going to be destroyed as well. Ford and Arthur then catch a ride on a spaceship and are Arthur finds himself on the adventure of a lifetime. He also finds the woman stolen away from him and the man who pilfered her. If Earth can be restored will Arthur want to ease back into his boring life?
This movie is made from the book with the same name written by Douglas Adams. I've read the book several times but this movie is just based on the first part of all the five parts of the book. You really have to read the book to fully enjoy this otherwise there are numerous things you won't understand or find funny or even understand why it's there (like the wall that fall from space. But that really makes no sense either even if you've read the book, eh).
The summary is this that it's a hilarious book. It's weird, absurd and just very very full of fantastic things that you'd never imagined. The movie contains all of these things too but you get them served. When reading the book you get a whole other picture of, for how example, Earth is demolished. The acting is good though and well, the script is superb though there were things I missed from the book.
But it's a very good movie anyway. You just have to read the book first.

And some other things.

I was supposed to post this on Monday but I didn't have the time but always better now than never I thought.

The evening ended this beautifully.

It was kind of cold that evening and I froze a lot and the fire spat ember at me and burnt a hole in my stockings. I played around with a stick that had been in the fire and had ember in the end and stupid little me acidentally hit myself on the leg with it. So I had two burnholes in my stockings and burnmarks on my legs.

Martin showed up at around 8 PM also. But he didn't get any sausage.

Yesterday, the trial against torrent site The Pirate Bay was held. The four owners were charged for abetting a breach of copyright law and sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of 30 million Swedish kronor. They are, among others, to pay damages of 10 822 500 SEK to the film company, Twentieth Century Fox. For MGM and Columbia will the four pay damages to 5 579 325 SEK.

The conviction in the Stockholm City Court may be appealed to the Court of Appeal, and then the parties may seek leave to appeal to the Supreme Court to take up the goal - which means that a final decision of the case could take several years.

File sharing won't stop because of this or the IPRED law. People still download. It will never stop and people already have things that prevent the government from finding them by downloading anonymously. But still.. you basically have no privacy whatsoever anymore here because of IPRED and the FRA law that we also have here.

Yeah, well hello. Another Saturday and Andrej and I woke up at about 10 AM and at around 1 PM we went out for a walk in the sun. It was really warm at first but then the wind started blowing really cold and it didn't feel so good anymore. It felt like being raped by nature. Not fun at all. But we walked a long distanace though after we realized that we where hungry and that we had a long way to walk back. My entire body hurts now but it's worth it.

Andrej took pictures of me on the swing. He realized it wasn't all that easy to get any pictures at all. I love swings and have always done.

He is basically a stuntman and doesn't actually fall or anything in his photos. He is literally strung up in place with harnesses and wires keeping him still and secure during the action shots.

I think the photos are really cool and if you just happen to look at some of them fast, you'd think he's actually falling off that building or whatever.

Fuck off and die ok!

If I had a gun right now I wouldn't hesitate a second to shoot two heads off. Two shots to the forehead and all problems would be solved.

But it's not that easy and I don't have a gun and I'm not able to get one either.

I never actually thought they'd find me, that the car that drove past the house belonged to them and that they'd been talking to Rose-Marie and that she'd revealed things that I never wanted them to know. He was "shocked" to hear about me having Asperger's but I don't care. I hope he thinks that it's his fault. He deserves it.

Even worse is that they still can't grasp the fact that I don't want to have anything to do with them. They still blame mum for me and Jeremy not wanting to meet him. That she's made us into having that opinion which is not true. Not at all. We can think for ourselves and they've got no right to lay all the blame on her. She raised me and Jeremy with almost no input from him but after he met the Witch, he all of a sudden wants to have a part of our lifes. Stupid.

So from now on I will be scared to death every time I step out the door, afraid that I will see their car. Because I know that they can do just about anything just to come near you.

No wonder I want to move away from this country so bad (well that's not the only reason). Just to get as far away as possible from them.
